About Alice
Dr. Alice Hoyt is a physician, wife, mother, and trusted advocate who is running to bring her experience, leadership, and commitment to service to the Jefferson Parish School Board, representing District 4.

Dr. Hoyt believes every child deserves access to an excellent education. She sees strong schools as the foundation for opportunity, preparing students with the knowledge, skills, and character they need to build lives of purpose, freedom, and prosperity.

As both a parent and a physician, Dr. Hoyt understands what families want from their schools: academic excellence, safe campuses, healthy learning environments, responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources, and open, honest communication. A board-certified pediatrician, internist, and allergist with a career dedicated to children and education, she brings an evidence-based approach, thoughtful leadership, and a collaborative spirit to solving problems and serving the community.
